Alice D. Hale, DMD, PC
Alice D. Hale is originally from Wilmington, North Carolina. She moved to Aiken in 1983 when her father was transferred here with DuPont Corporation. Dr. Hale attended Aiken Elementary, Schofield Middle School and graduated from Aiken High School in 1991. She then attended Georgia Southern University from 1991-1993, majoring in Chemistry. In 1994 she enrolled in the School of Allied Health at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. In 1996 she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia.
After working as a full-time, registered dental hygienist for seven years she attended the Medical College of Georgia, College of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2007 with her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. Hale is licensed in Georgia and South Carolina. Upon graduation, Dr. Hale practiced in North Augusta, South Carolina as an associate dentist. In November 2013 she purchased the practice of a retiring dentist in her home town of Aiken, South Carolina. She lives in Aiken with her husband, Russell and their two children.
Aside from the private practice of dentistry, Dr. Hale remains very involved with her family, hobbies and the community. Her, Russell and the kids love the outdoors which include bike riding, mountain biking, hiking and camping. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and served as President of the Aiken County Dental Society 2014-2015 term. She is also a liaison member for the School of Allied Health, Department of Dental Hygiene, and also serves on the Admissions Committee for the College of Dental Medicine at Georgia Regents University.
